The final three books in the Hitchhiker 'trilogy' are being adapted for Radio 4 in two new series starting in September 2004 and May 2005.
Most of the original radio cast have been reunited for the new series and they are joined by new stars including William Franklin as The Voice of the Book and Richard Griffiths as Slartibartfast.

Some time ago a group of hyper-intelligent pan dimensional beings decided to finally answer the great question of Life, The Universe and Everything. To this end they built an incredibly powerful computer, Deep Thought. After the great computer programme had run (a very quick seven and a half million years) the answer was announced.
